1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Lavi Silver Group website (lavisilver.com) and any transaction concluded with us. By using the website, requesting a Quote, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Each individual Quote, together with these Terms, forms a standalone agreement (the “Agreement”) for that specific transaction.
2. Who we are
“Lavi Silver Group”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Lavi Silver Group LTD (Israeli Tax ID 517275442), a VAT-registered Israeli precious-metals dealer with registered address at 47 Derech Beit Lechem, Jerusalem 9355325. Contact: info@lavisilver.com · +972 (0) 54-828-5597.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts to transact with us. We primarily serve customers based in Israel and ship within Israel. International orders are considered case-by-case and may be subject to additional verification, customs, and export-control procedures.
4. Quote & price lock
4.1. Validity period
Each Quote we issue states a validity period (the “Validity Period”) — typically six (6) hours from issuance for orders that do not require KYC review, or such longer period as we may state on the Quote for orders subject to KYC. The Quote shall remain valid only for the Validity Period and shall automatically expire without notice upon its lapse.
4.2. Price lock and Price Volatility Threshold
The quoted price shall be deemed locked only upon (i) receipt of full cleared payment within the Validity Period and (ii) our written confirmation of acceptance, provided that the international silver spot price (as published by the London Bullion Market Association, “LBMA”, or such other benchmark as we customarily use) does not move by more than 4% (four percent) above or below the spot price used to calculate the Quote (the “Price Volatility Threshold”) during the Validity Period.
4.3. Automatic voiding
If at any time during the Validity Period, prior to our receipt of full cleared payment, the silver spot price moves beyond the Price Volatility Threshold, the Quote shall automatically become void without any action required by us. We shall notify you of the voiding and, upon request, issue a revised Quote reflecting current market conditions.
4.4. Expired quotes
Any attempt to accept a Quote after the expiry of its Validity Period shall have no legal effect. For the avoidance of doubt, no binding agreement shall arise from any acceptance of a Quote unless full cleared payment has been received within the Validity Period and we have confirmed acceptance in writing. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a revised Quote at then- current market levels.
4.5. Manifest error
We reserve the right to cancel any transaction in the event of a manifest error in pricing, calculation, or product description. In such event, any amounts paid by you shall be refunded in full, and we shall have no further liability.
4.6. Re-locking
Up to the moment your order status flips to Confirmed (i.e., funds received and matching wholesale order placed), you may request a refresh of the Quote at the then-current spot price. We will issue a revised Quote for the same items and delivery method.
5. Distance Selling Disclosure
In compliance with Section 14C(b) of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, the following information is disclosed prior to completion of any transaction:
- Company details: Lavi Silver Group LTD (Israeli Tax ID 517275442); registered address: 47 Derech Beit Lechem, Jerusalem 9355325.
- Product description: Silver bullion product(s) as described in the Quote, including type (coin, bar, or round), weight (in troy ounces or grams), purity (fineness, e.g. .999 fine silver), form, and manufacturer/mint where applicable. A troy ounce is 31.103 g, not the standard ounce (28.35 g).
- Total price and payment terms: as stated in the Quote, payable in full by wire transfer per Section 6.
- Delivery method and timeline: as specified in Section 7. In-stock items: same day (pickup) or within the weekly shipping cycle (courier). On-order items: shipped after the next scheduled bulk import (typically 2–6 weeks), with the estimated delivery window stated on the Quote.
- Cancellation rights and method: as described in Section 11. Cancellation may be effected by email to sales@lavisilver.com.
- Warranty / guarantee: we guarantee the purity, weight, and authenticity of all silver bullion products sold (Section 9).
6. Payment methods
We accept payment by wire transfer to our designated bank account only, the details of which are provided with each Quote. We do not accept cash, cryptocurrency, or credit-card payments for bullion orders.
For same-day execution within the Validity Period, you must send an Israeli Zahav (זה"ב) real-time gross- settlement transfer. Standard bank-to-bank transfers can take one to three business days, by which time the Validity Period will typically have elapsed; in that case the order moves into the limbo state described in Section 11.2 and a representative will contact you to discuss next steps.
All payments must include the order reference number stated on the Quote. Funds received without the correct reference may be delayed in matching to your order.
7. Delivery and risk transfer
7.1. Delivery options
- In-person pickup: free of charge from our Jerusalem office, available the same day after funds are received (except On-order items, which are subject to arrival of the next bulk import).
- Tracked courier: ₪50 flat fee per order, free for orders of 25 troy ounces or more. Delivery typically takes one to three business days from the date funds clear.
- Direct delivery with on-site testing: as quoted per order, to your preferred location, accompanied by a representative who will perform purity verification at handover.
7.2. Pre-order (On-order) delivery
Delivery timelines for items marked “On order” are estimates only. We schedule bulk imports every 2–6 weeks from our partner mints and wholesale dealers. We shall use best efforts to expedite delivery. If delivery of an On-order item is delayed beyond the estimated timeline by more than 30 days, you may cancel the affected line item and receive a full refund of all amounts paid in respect of that line, subject to any statutory cancellation fee.
7.3. Risk of loss
Risk of loss in the goods passes to you upon delivery to you (or, in the case of in-person pickup, upon physical hand-over to you or your authorised representative). Until that point the goods remain at our risk. We ship by tracked courier — Israel Post, FedEx or UPS — so the consignment can be followed from dispatch to hand-over.
8. Force majeure
8.1. Definition
For the purposes of these Terms, “Force Majeure Event” means any event beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to: war, armed conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, economic sanctions, trade embargoes, pandemics, natural disasters, supply-chain disruptions, commodity-market disruptions, precious- metals shortages, strikes, import/export restrictions, and customs delays.
For the avoidance of doubt, Force Majeure Events shall include ongoing or existing conditions, including current security situations, military operations, or conflicts affecting Israel or the region, whether or not such events are deemed foreseeable or would otherwise qualify as force majeure under applicable law.
8.2. Suspension of obligations
We shall not be liable for any delay in or failure to perform our obligations to the extent caused by a Force Majeure Event. Delivery timelines shall be extended by a period equal to the duration of the Force Majeure Event. We shall notify you promptly upon becoming aware of a Force Majeure Event that may affect performance.
9. Product guarantee, inspection & liability
9.1. Guarantee
We guarantee the purity, weight, and authenticity of all silver bullion products sold. Each product conforms to the specifications stated in the Quote and/or product description.
9.2. Certification
Products are supplied with a certificate of authenticity, assay documentation, or manufacturer's certification, where applicable and available from the original mint or manufacturer.
9.3. Inspection at delivery or collection
You are entitled to inspect the goods at the time of collection (in-person pickup) or upon receipt (courier). We shall make available a Sigma Precious Metals Verifier (or equivalent non- destructive testing device) and may provide additional testing methods to verify purity, weight, and authenticity at that time.
9.4. Deemed acceptance
If you do not report any visible defect, discrepancy, or non- conformity to us at the time of collection, or in the case of courier delivery within seven (7) days of receipt, the goods shall be deemed accepted in full conformity with the specifications stated in the Quote.
9.5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the purchase price of the specific product in question. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, market losses, loss of investment opportunity, or changes in the market value of silver or other assets. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Israeli law.
10. KYC and client obligations
10.1. KYC requirement
Before any transaction may be processed, you must complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) process, which includes: providing a valid government-issued photo identification document (Teudat Zehut for Israeli residents, passport for non-residents); signing our KYC declaration form; and providing any additional documentation we may reasonably request. Pre-approval is available via the pre-approval flow ahead of any purchase.
10.2. Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse to enter into any transaction, or to suspend or terminate your account, if: you fail to provide satisfactory identification; your profile raises compliance concerns under the Prohibition of Money Laundering Law, 5760-2000; or we determine that proceeding would expose us to legal or regulatory risk.
10.3. Regulatory reporting
You acknowledge and consent that we may be required by law to report certain transactions or information to the Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority (IMPA) or other competent authorities. Such reporting shall be made without prior notice to you where required by law. See our AML Compliance page for further detail.
11. Cancellations and the limbo state
11.1. Cancellation prior to payment
Cancellation of a Quote prior to receipt of payment is free and may be effected at any time by email to sales@lavisilver.com. The Quote will not become a binding agreement until full cleared payment is received and we issue written confirmation.
11.2. Late or partial funds — limbo state
If your wire arrives after the Validity Period has closed, or the amount received does not match the Quote total, the order moves into a limbo state: neither cancelled nor confirmed. A representative will contact you and offer two paths: (a) re-lock at the then-current spot price (with any already-received funds reconciled against the new total); or (b) cancel and receive a full refund of any funds received, with no fees deducted.
11.3. Cancellation after Confirmation
Once an order is Confirmed (funds received and matching wholesale order placed with the supplier), it cannot generally be cancelled because we have committed to a corresponding wholesale order. We may, at our discretion, accept post-Confirmation cancellation against a market-loss adjustment to cover any spot movement during the cancellation window. Defective or non-conforming goods will be replaced or refunded under Section 9 and applicable Israeli consumer- protection law.
12. Tax invoice
Every completed sale is invoiced as a domestic Israeli transaction. You will receive a proper tax invoice (חשבונית מס) showing the items, the VAT charged at the prevailing Israeli rate (currently 18%), and the source of the silver. Keep this invoice for your records — it may be relevant for future capital-gains accounting on resale.
13. No investment advice
Lavi Silver Group LTD is a dealer in physical precious metals. We are not a financial advisor, investment broker, portfolio manager, or registered investment firm under any applicable Israeli or foreign law.
No information provided by us — whether on the website, in marketing materials, in electronic or oral communications, or in any other medium — shall be construed as financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
The purchase of physical silver bullion involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of market depreciation, currency fluctuation, and illiquidity. Past performance of the silver spot price is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own purchasing and investment decisions and are encouraged to consult with a qualified, licensed financial advisor and Israeli tax professional before making any purchase.
14. Intellectual property
All content on the Lavi Silver Group website — including text, logos, photography, and chart visualisations — is owned by us or used under licence. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or build derivative works without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference use.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jerusalem, Israel.
16. Miscellaneous protective clauses
16.1. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable Quote and any annexes attached thereto, constitute the entire agreement between us and you with respect to the subject matter. No oral representations, prior negotiations, or side agreements shall be binding unless expressly incorporated in writing.
16.2. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16.3. Amendment
We reserve the right to amend these Terms for future transactions. Any such amendment shall be communicated before a new Quote is issued. Amendments shall not apply retroactively to transactions already concluded; each Quote is governed by the Terms in effect at the time it was issued.
16.4. Assignment
You may not assign any rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to an affiliate or successor entity, provided that the assignee assumes all obligations to you.
16.5. Language
These Terms may be provided in both Hebrew and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the Hebrew and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
16.6. Notices
All notices required under this Agreement shall be in writing and shall be deemed delivered when (a) delivered personally; (b) sent by registered mail (three business days after mailing); or (c) sent by email (upon receipt confirmation or the next business day).
16.7. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
