1. Who we are

Lavi Silver Group ("we", "us", "our") is a precious-metals dealer registered and operating in Israel. Our business address is Beit Lechem Road, Jerusalem. For privacy-related enquiries you may contact us at info@lavisilver.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only as needed to fulfil orders, meet our regulatory obligations, and operate our website. Categories include:

  • Contact details — name, email, phone, delivery address.
  • Identity & verification (KYC) — Israeli ID number (Teudat Zehut) or passport, date of birth, government-issued ID image, and source-of-funds declaration. Required for orders at or above ₪5,000.
  • Transaction data — order details, invoice records, bank-wire references, and delivery confirmations.
  • Communications — emails, WhatsApp messages, and phone notes you exchange with us.
  • Website analytics — basic, aggregated usage data (pages visited, device type) collected only with your consent. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

3. Why we collect it

  • To process and deliver your orders, issue tax invoices (חשבונית מס), and provide post-sale support.
  • To meet our obligations under Israeli anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing law, including identity verification, source-of-funds review, and suspicious-activity reporting.
  • To meet our obligations under Israeli tax law, including invoice retention and record-keeping.
  • To prevent fraud, secure our systems, and improve our services.

4. How we store and protect it

Customer records are stored in our own database (Supabase, encrypted at rest) and customer-relationship system (Zoho CRM). KYC documents are stored in restricted-access cloud storage. Access is limited to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis. We use industry-standard transport encryption (TLS) and access controls.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only when necessary, with:

  • Service providers operating on our behalf (CRM, cloud storage, payment processing, courier services) under data protection terms.
  • Israeli authorities (the Israel Tax Authority, the Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority, courts, and police) when legally required to do so.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. How long we keep it

Transaction records, tax invoices, and supporting documents are retained for at least seven years to comply with Israeli tax law. KYC records are retained for the period required by Israeli anti-money-laundering law (typically seven years from the end of the customer relationship). Marketing-consent records are kept until you withdraw consent.

7. Your rights

Subject to Israeli law and our retention obligations, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of data we are not legally required to retain; withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. analytics, marketing). To exercise these rights, contact info@lavisilver.com.

8. Cookies

Our site uses essential cookies required for cart and checkout to function. Optional analytics cookies are loaded only with your consent through the cookie banner. You can decline non-essential cookies without affecting your ability to browse, request quotes, or place orders.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jerusalem.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
